Hourglass is a series of images of the desert and sea of the Sourthern State of Baja California, Mexico. Those landscapes of solitude, but not loneliness, tell stories about the past and the future mixed thru sand and water. I decided to take away the overwhealming colors of the sky, the ocean and the rocks to focus on the essence of light and get deeper into the space and be open to the silence. By these landscapes I found out silence is not created, it is discovered.
